This week started out with 2 test sessions at Kingsport with new Crew Chief Chris Carrier in prepration for the race. On Fridays practice they hit on some things that made them feel good about Saturdays race. As we unloaded Saturday for the 1st practice session he immediately went to p4 in practice and backed it up with a p3 in final practice. Chase qualified p4 in a very tight field missing the pole by .060. Chase settled into race mode and ran p2-p3 for the majority of the race and brought the car home in p3 and in one piece. Thank You to Chris Carrier for coming on board as Crew Chief and Mentor for Chase. I don’t think we could have made a better choice and Thank the good Lord for bring us together. Thank You to Michael, Greg, Matthew, Nutcie, Kres, Chris, Jeremy and anyone else I might have missed.
