Unloaded Friday with a fast hot rod for Colby and he showed it in the early practice. Went out for the first official practice mainly to work on his line in 1 and 2. Colby had a solid qualifying with only .08 separating 2-5. By luck of the draw Colby started on the pole and showed early on he was in contention for a good run and that's exactly what he did never falling outside the top 6 for the whole race. When the checkers fell he was passing for p5 and got the position right before the line. Congratulations on your first top 5.
