We had a very busy week in the shop getting 3 cars prepared for the weekend. Can't Thank our crew enough for the work in the shop, Kirby, Nutcie, Greg, also Dave Roop for coming in one evening and helping.
Thursday evening Chase took the track at Kingsport to shake down a new CDM car. He had a solid practice and the car handled well.
On Friday CDM team driver Colby Higgins took to the track at Kingsport Speedway and had a solid practice turning his fastest lap as of to date at the concrete jungle. He qualified in 6th and by the luck of the dice he took the pole position. Colby said the car started pushing real bad at the beginning of the race and rode it out to a 6th place finish.
Saturday morning we reloaded the hauler and took off to Tri County Speedway with Chase for a Southeast Super Truck Series Limited Late Model Race. We unloaded fast and was setting in p4 the second practice when rain moved in and cancelled the race.
We have not got our schedule set for this week but will let everyone know as soon as we decide on tracks.
