Colby started our race weekend on Friday at Kingsport Speedway with a very solid practice and posted his best times since joining CDM. He went out in qualifying and laid down his fastest lap of the year giving him a P3 start. Colby finished the race in P6. The finish was no indication of how hard he drove and all the accomplishments he achieved on Friday. It was a long night and quick turnaround for MotorMile on Saturday for Chase. We had a fast car and a solid practice. Chase qualified P8 in a very tight field. By the luck of the draw he started 5th. At the beginning of the race a car came down across the right front of the bumper but no damage. The car began to overheat mid race and Chase brought the car to pit road and the crew was not able to cool it down to get back on track.
