On a Day when it was hard to be at the track when our minds was elsewhere on family Chase and Colby got right to work in practice and showed that both cars had speed. When qualifying came around Chase qualified p2 getting beat by .036 for the pole. Colby ran his fastest lap of the year and qualified p5. With the roll of the dice they inverted the top 6 cars.
Colby started the race on the outside roll 1 and maintained a top 5 with only a handful of laps left and he fell to 6th and that would be his finish in a caution free race. Colby made huge gains yesterday in his quest for his first win.
Chase rolled out p5 on the invert and ran in the top 4 the whole race until the last lap and got passed and had to settle for 5th. Chase and Ashton Higgins put on a show for 7 laps running side by side for 3rd place and going 3 wide many times passing lap traffic. The only caution that came out was for a blown motor by a another car and the radio communication got active with chase coming across the radio saying man this is the most fun I've ever had in a late model car.
These 2 boys drove their tails off tonight for their uncles. Please continue to be in Prayers for our families during these difficult times with our love ones.
