The day started out with a solid p4 practice followed up with a p5 qualifying position out of 17 cars. By the luck of the draw from the fans Chase started 7th. He took the green flag and immediately passed a couple of cars and settled in 5th riding and patiently waiting to make his next move but unfortunately the 4th place car spun directly in front of Chase due to another car leaking oil on the track and had no where to go causing some fender damage and knocking the car out of toe. We were able to get the car back on the track without loosing a lap and he started in the rear and rode there a few laps to make sure everything felt ok before getting up to full speed. Chase said everything felt good and he got up to full speed and began to pick off cars one at a time and eventually took the checkers in 8th place in a wild last lap finish. After surveying the damage today at the shop we were very fortunate to escape with only fender damage and a bent tie rod.
Thank You to the Fans for your continued support
We have a busy upcoming week with a Chantz Scott test session. Kingsport Speedway Friday with Colby Higgins Might race somewhere with Chase on Saturday if we can find a place.
Thank You to our sponsors for allowing Chase to chase his dreams
