CDM started bright and early Friday morning testing from 10-1 before the gates opened at 2 p.m. Colby gained a ton of experience and seat time before we went into race mode and it showed in qualifying laying down a first fast lap of 16.172 putting him in P6 out of 14 cars, He was on his way to hitting the 15's on the 2nd lap but drove it in a little to hard in turn one and got loose. 1st race Colby finished 7th in a caution free race. 2nd race Colby started P2 on the invert and led some laps before falling back to 7th due to brakes getting hot and not be able to hit his marks as needed in the corners. Overall Colby had a very successful day. Look for this kid to be in Victory Lane before the end of the year. Our new driver Chantz Scott came for the early practice to take it all in and learn what he could before he takes the wheel next Wednesday for his first practice session. I want to Thank Chase for getting behind the wheel yesterday to give Colby some pointers and giving him the confidence of what the car is capable of doing and a goal to work for. He also took care of all the car needs and spotting. Thanks to all who helped yesterday to make it a successful day and thank the Good Lord above for protecting all the Driver's.
Thank You to our sponsors for allowing Chase and Colby to chase their dreams.
